Evangelization in the church

Dear brothers and sisters, we greet you with the love and peace of Jesus Christ.

We praise the Lord for His mercy and grace through which we can still work in His Field every day in this difficult time for us.

1. For our church, the neighboring village of Vanchikautsi is a place for missionary work. This month we organized a day camp for children where children from this village were taught children's lessons from the Gospel, they also had different games and Bible competitions.

2. Our church prayers for peace in Ukraine do not cease. So, on August 24, there was a special day for prayer, when all believers of Ukraine united for prayer for the war to end and for peace to come, which we all expect from our Lord.

3. On the last Sunday of August, there was a large evangelization in the church, guests from Romania. They preached the Word of God and glorified the Lord by singing spiritual psalms. There was a wonderful evangelism where many unbelievers were present.

4. Thanksgiving:

- I thank the Lord for all the circumstances through which the Gospel was preached.

- I thank the Lord for His care for us in the services that we held this month.

- We thank the Lord for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in the gospel here in Ukraine. For your support and your prayers for us.

5. Prayer requests:

- Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, continue to pray with us for peace in Ukraine.

- Pray for the ministry that we do in the neighboring village of Vanchikauts. So that the gospel will be successful and that people will come to God.

- Pray for me too, so that when God gives me such circumstances for the gospel, that the Lord will give me the power of the Holy Spirit and His wisdom in this ministry.

-On behalf of my family, we thank you with all our hearts for all that you do for us and wish you joy and God's peace to accompany you every day and every hour. We pray for you and wish you abundant blessings from God!

With love to you, the Gortopan family.

Baptism at the church

Dear brothers and sisters of PIEI America, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I praise God for giving us such a blessed month where God was glorified through wonderful events.

1. On the first Sunday of the month, we had a baptism in our church where 7 souls made a covenant with Jesus through water baptism: 5 young and one older family. I am glad that these young people repented last summer in the camp and this is the fruit of the ministries where we work together with the team from the USA every year.

2. Then the ministry continued where for a whole week we had a Christian day camp for children in our church, where 100 children came to the camp every day, teenagers came before lunch and after lunch. There was a blessed service where the deacon of the church, young sisters, as well as the youth of our church participated.

3. At the end of the month, a Christian youth camp was held in Boyany, organized by our mission PIEI. This is a blessed service where we saw the hearts of teenagers and children renewed under the assistance of the heard Word of God. Here we saw the hand of God, because only the Spirit of God worked on the hearts of these children throughout the week and we are very happy for these 35 children who accepted Christ in their hearts in this camp.

4.Thanksgiving:

-I thank God for the wonderful opportunities to preach the Gospel.

-I thank God for the team from the USA who served both in the camp and in evangelism with glasses.

5.Prayer needs:

-Pray with us for the children, teenagers and young people who were in the camp, that the Lord would work with His Holy Spirit in their hearts.

-Pray for those souls who have received water baptism, so that the Lord will protect them from all evil and from sin.

-Pray for me too, that the Lord will give me a good word and the power of the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel and to testify about Christ Jesus.

And we thank our brothers and sisters from the USA from the bottom of our hearts, as a team that we had in Ukraine, as well as to those who stayed at home, but supported us in your prayers and helped us sponsor this ministry with money, which we had for a whole week. Both the service in the camp and the service with glasses were deeds blessed by God, and we continue to expect the fruit of repentance from people who heard the Word of the Gospel. May the Lord richly bless you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine.

With love to you, the Gortopan family.

Humanitarian aid for the East

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ! I praise the Lord because only He cares for us and supports us in our service and the gospel that we fulfill here.

1. We continue, together with the church, to pray and help in those places in Ukraine where the war is going on. This month, brothers from our church went 2 times to the Donetsk region from a car canteen where they prepared hot food for the soldiers who defend our country there. This was also an opportunity for our brothers to evangelize our soldiers, to tell them about the salvation of the human soul.

2. Our church again began missionary service to the neighboring village of Vanchikovtsy. A year has already passed since 3 people from this village repented and were baptized. And with God’s help, we, together with them, do a service every Sunday afternoon (at 17:00). These young people from this village really want to work for God in their village. And we study the Word of God and also worship God in Spirit and Truth. We pray that people from the world will come and that they will repent.

3. From brother Valery Popov we received vegetables and food and had the opportunity to help people in need and displaced people. These good deeds tell people a lot. Then we can preach the Gospel to them.

4. Thanksgiving:

-I thank the Lord for the opportunities that He gives us to preach the Gospel to people.

-I thank the Lord for the 6 souls who will be baptized this summer.

5.Prayer needs:

-Pray with us for those ministries that will soon be in our church: baptism and Christian camps.

-Continue to pray for our Ukraine so that the long-awaited peace will come.

-Pray for me too, that the Lord will give me wisdom and the Power of the Holy Spirit in preaching the Gospel.

We thank from the bottom of our hearts all our evangelistic partners from PIEI America for your support and for your help in ministry from Ukraine. May the Lord reward you with a hundredfold blessing for your work and for your service. We pray for you and wait for you with love.

With respect to you, the Gortopan family.

Preparation for baptism

Dear brothers and sisters of PIEI America, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. I always praise the Lord for giving us opportunities and favorable times to preach the Word of the Gospel.

1. At the beginning of the month, our church celebrated the Feast of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We had a well-prepared special Easter program for our church where there were non-believers among us who listened carefully to the Word of God. On the second day we organized an evangelism with children, where there were about 50 children. They had a wonderful time studying the Word of God and praising God through singing and poetry. Then everyone received gifts and they were very pleased.

2. We are very glad that in our church there are 6 candidates for baptism who want to make a covenant with our Lord Jesus Christ through water baptism this summer. Preparations are already underway, they are studying the Word of God and teaching them basic things from the Bible how church members should behave in the Church of Christ.

3. In our country, in Ukraine, a chain of prayer and fasting for victory and peace in Ukraine was organized. Our church, together with the Chernivtsi region, had a whole week from May 5 to May 12, fasting and prayer for peace in Ukraine. May the Lord hear us and everyone who prays for this long-awaited world.

4. Thanksgiving:

-We always thank God for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, our friends and brothers in Christ who help us a lot in this difficult time for us.

-I thank God for those unbelievers who visit our House of Prayer and listen to the Word of God.

5. Prayer needs:

-Pray with us for the candidates for baptism, especially pray for one girl, Evelina, who repented in the summer in the camp in Boyany. She comes from an unbelieving family.

-Continue to pray for peace in Ukraine.

-Pray for me that the Holy Spirit will always give me a zealous Word when I have to preach the Gospel among people who need Salvation in Christ.

And to you, our evangelism partners from the PIEI America mission, I am very grateful to you for everything you do for us. May the Lord reward you with blessings a hundredfold for your work in His Field. And we, in turn, always pray for you and bless you.

With love to you, the Gortopan family.

Humanitarian aid for needy

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our evangelistic partners here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I glorify and give praise to the Lord, because only because of His mercy and grace to us, He has protected us until now.

1. In all services in the church, we see the guiding Hand of God above us. Together with our brothers, we have an analysis of the Word of God, and we are now studying the parables of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the end of the study, we analyze everything we have learned and pray that the Lord will help us apply the Word of God in our lives. This study of the Gospel is very pleasing to those brothers who have recently repented. This is how they learn, and they need this for the edification of their souls, for the spiritual growth of faith. It is also necessary for all of us to study the Word of God so that we grow spiritually every day of our life on this earth.

2. Through Popov's brother Valery, our missionary, we received humanitarian aid, clothes, products and vegetables, and I took them to families in need, displaced persons and the sick. These people thanked us very much, they were glad for our visits and praised the Lord God. I really wish that through such visits to disadvantaged people, the Lord would speak to their hearts and draw these people to Himself.

3. On the last Sunday of this month, we celebrated the Feast of the Entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. Many unbelieving people attended this evangelization. Our youth, as well as children from the church, had a wonderful program of glorification through which our Lord Jesus Christ was glorified. The Word of God was also preached through the Power of the Holy Spirit. We pray for all the people who listened to this service.

4. Thanks:

- I am very grateful to the Lord for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, because you are a great support and blessing in the service of Ukraine.

- I thank the Lord for peace and tranquility in our region where we live. Without the arrival of rockets and without bombings, we can safely serve the Lord here.

5. Prayer needs:

- We will pray for unbelieving people who listen to the Word of the Gospel, so that the Lord may test their hearts to repentance.

- Continue to pray for our country, for peace, because only through our efforts and persistence in our prayers, the Lord will give us the long-awaited peace in Ukraine.

- Pray for me and my family, that the Lord would strengthen us in faith and protect us from all evil during this difficult period of the war in Ukraine, so that we could serve the Lord zealously and boldly, not looking at the obstacles that surround us, but looking to our Lord Jesus Christ-Glory to Him forever!

From our family, we wish you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in the gospel here in Ukraine, that we continue to serve the Lord together and that the Lord blesses you with health, peace, joy, success and many more blessings from the Lord in your families, in to your churches and to your country of the USA. We, through our brother Pavel Petihachny, are always informed about your prayer needs and will always bring these prayer needs of yours to the Lord in our prayers. We are always grateful to the Lord for you and for what you do for us.

With love to you, the Hortopan family.
