Blessings of children

We greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, our dear brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. Christ is risen! Christ has truly risen!

I am very grateful to the Lord for His protection this month, during this period of difficult war in Ukraine. This war has been raging here for 790 days now. Missiles arrive in different cities of Ukraine, so many deaths of civilians and children. And only the mercy of the Lord protects our Bukovina region from these missile attacks - Thank God! I am grateful to God for what He has given me, this month, success in evangelism.

1.Blessings of children

-This month, 2 young families brought their babies for blessings. Roger and Sorina brought Timur's second son and the church prayed with me for the blessing of this child, and also for the Lord to bless their entire family. Youth and the church congratulated the couple on their newborn son.

On April 14, the next Sunday, the second couple, Vitaly and Esther, came to church and brought their third child, Miriam, for blessing. We prayed for Miriam's blessings and for the Lord to bless their entire family. Also the youth had a wonderful welcome and blessing program for these young families. Also, these days, our church services were visited by people - guests from the world. We pray for them that they will repent.

2.Meeting with missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission.

-We had a meeting with the missionaries of our PIEI Ukraine mission at the Emmanuel Church in Novoselitsa. These meetings inspire us all because each brother missionary gives an account of his work on his mission field of service and we learn from each other and support each other in prayer before our Lord. We also pray and thank God for our sponsors, for our evangelistic partners from the USA, who support us both spiritually and financially in serving the Lord here, in this difficult time of war for us. We also prayed that the Lord would bless us further in our missionary service. We have children’s camps in every church of our mission, as well as a teenage camp in Boyany, and we pray for them. We hope in the Lord that He will help us and we will continue to have a peaceful sky and tranquility for serving in these Christian camps. We also had a table of love with our missionaries and trusted in God's protection as we parted ways. We promised to support each other in prayers and if anyone needed help, we would help each other.

3.Visit

-I visited churches in the village of Balkovtsy and in the village of Podvirnoe, and also helped those in need financially with packages of food. They were very happy to receive this help. I also distributed seeds to sow their garden. And people again thanked for this good deed. Thank God for the fact that I had such an opportunity to help people who need help.

4.Church classes

-In Nesvoyskaya church I taught the book of the prophet Isaiah. This month I walked through 6 chapters of this book with the church. Everyone in our church loved this beautiful book of Isaiah.

5.Work with youth and young families

-Once a week, young families and youth gather for Bible study and also prepare a worship program for Sunday church services. We are very glad that our church is visited by new people for whom we pray that they will repent.

6.Thanksgiving.

-We are grateful to God that He gives us spiritual and physical health and we can serve in our churches during this difficult time for us.

-We are very grateful to God for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, for helping us and supporting us in your prayers.

-We are grateful to God for protecting our region from bombing and we can safely serve here where we are.

7.Prayer needs

-Continue to pray for peace in Ukraine and Israel.

-Pray for us missionaries that the Lord will continue to protect us, our families and our churches from bombings, from all evil, so that we can calmly serve the Lord here in this difficult time of war for us.

-To turn back our captured soldiers who are being held captive by enemies.

-So that the Lord preserves our young brothers from all evil. Now is wartime, there are military posts everywhere, and it is difficult for young ministers to move around to serve in other churches.

-Pray for our summer Christian children's camps.

-Pray for repentance among our displaced people. They listen to the Word and receive packages of help, but so that they understand and accept the call of Jesus Christ to repentance.

-Pray for ministry among orphans. On May 18, our church will again organize a ministry for 200 orphans on Kovelskaya 25, where we will feed them all day and engage them in sports, Bible lessons and various interesting games. So that the Lord would give us a peaceful sky and good weather so that the children would rejoice all day long.

-Pray for our church evangelism on May 5th where we invited many friends to church. So that the Lord awakens these people to repentance.

And we pray for you, brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine.

May the Lord bless you richly. Greetings from my family.

With love to you, the Petikhachnyy Pavel & Larisa family.

Ministry of the PIEI Ukraine mission for the first half of the year 2024

Ministry of the PIEI Ukraine mission for the first half of the year 2024.

1.Repentance and baptism:

-During the first half of 2024, in the churches of missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, 12 souls repented and 7 of them received holy water baptism.

2.Theological Institute:

-Two missionaries from our mission taught students at the Theological Institute. One of them taught a lesson in Missiology, and the other brother missionary taught a lesson in Systematic Theology.

3.Service with orphans:

-At the beginning of January, we did a lot of evangelization with orphans and widows. There were about 200 orphans at this evangelization. We taught them Bible lessons and also gave each child Christmas gifts. The children were very happy to receive these gifts, because they know and expect that we, missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, will visit them every year at this time and give such gifts. They praise and glorify our Lord for His mercy and kindness to the orphans and widows and we are glad that the Name of Jesus is glorified among the orphans and widows.

-Also, these 200 orphans are waiting for their next meeting with us on May 18 at 25 Kovelska Street, Chernivtsi, where we have prepared an Easter program for them, gifts and a delicious lunch for them. We pray that the weather will be good, calm and peaceful, without the arrival of enemy missiles.

4.Work among migrants:

-One missionary brother from our mission, together with his team, volunteers from his church, once every 2 weeks they carry humanitarian aid to the cities of Ukraine that were destroyed such as Gostomel, Irpen, Borodyanka, Bucha. A Christian Church has opened in Gostomel, Kyiv region, where evangelistic meetings are held and the Word of God is proclaimed. 200-220 people gather there and listen to the Word of God, and then they receive packages of help that our brothers brought from Chernivtsi. We received all this help from the PIEI America mission & the PIEI Romania mission, and we are always grateful to God for our brothers overseas who support us and our Ukraine.

-All our other missionary brothers serve and help refugees who live among us, in the Chernivtsi region, in Bukovina.

Brother missionary from Novoselitsa works very well and widely among refugees. Organizes evangelism among them where he preaches and teaches them the Word of God. Thank God there are repentants and close ones among them.

5. Ministry among teenagers.

-In our mission there is also a brother missionary who works diligently with teenagers in the Novoseletsky district. He regularly organizes meetings for them, preaches the Word of God to them, and the leader prepares various interesting programs for these teenagers. We prepared gifts for them for Christmas; there were about 150 teenagers - thank God!

6.Service on radio broadcast Bukovina:

-In our mission PIEI UKR. there are two missionary brothers who serve and speak on Radio Bukovina. One brother missionary is responsible for these radio broadcasts and at the same time preaches on Radio Bukovina. There are very good reviews from radio listeners - thank God.

7.Service among sisters:

-In our mission there is one sister who serves among all the sisters in the Novoselitsky district. She also participates in organizing nursing conferences in our area and in regional ones. She also consults with sisters from our churches on how we can help with food for the soldiers who defend Ukraine. Our sisters help a lot in this regard. They prepare various foods for the soldiers, and the volunteers, our brothers, bring them baked bread and meat and various sweet cookies. God bless!

8.Prayer needs:

-Brothers and sisters, continue to pray for an end to the war in Ukraine.

-Pray for all 9 of us missionaries and for our families, that the Lord will protect us here from all evil and the blessing of the Lord will be upon us.

-Pray for the action among orphans on May 18, so that the Lord will bless these orphans, so that there will be a peaceful sky above us, so that the Lord will bless our sisters who will prepare food for these children, and most importantly, the preachers and leaders who will proclaim the Word of the Gospel among these people.

-Pray for our camp in Boyany which will be from July 22 to July 27 this summer. So that it would also be peaceful and calm and we could preach the Word among children and teenagers. So that we have a good team of leaders and teachers. We hope in the Lord and He will help us in everything.

-Continue to pray for our Chernivtsi region so that we will not continue to be attacked by enemy bombs and missiles.

-Pray for ministry among the displaced, so that more people will listen and accept Jesus Christ in their hearts.

-Pray for our missionaries so that the Lord will protect them, because we have military posts everywhere, in our villages. We are all thoroughly checked, both cars and documents. And among our missionary brothers there are also young brothers. We are also very worried about them. Pray for all of us.

We are very grateful to God and to you brothers and sisters from the USA, for your support in prayer and for your material support. We always pray for you and bless you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!

Missiology class

We greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, our dear brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in the gospel here in Ukraine. And once again we want to greet you on Easter: Christ is Risen! Christ has truly risen!

We are grateful to God for the fact that He still protects us and in this difficult time of war in our Ukraine, He helps us in our ministry and gives us, the missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, success in the gospel.

1. As I wrote in the previous report, from March 4-14 I taught at the Theological Institute, to 4th year students, a Missiology class, that is, how to evangelize non-believers. In order to engage in missionary work, first of all, we must have a devoted heart to God, so that we can love those people whom we want to evangelize and then they will accept our testimony and other Truths of God. Thank you for praying for me. Our students learned these lessons well.

2. This month I visited almost all the churches from the Novoseletsky district and distributed seeds to each member of the church so that they could sow their fields.

To get to these churches I drove through many military posts where the military checks documents and the trunk of a car. It takes a lot of patience, faith and prayer.

Even in the village of Podvirnoye, when I was going to the breaking of bread, there were 3 military checkpoints where everyone was checked. This is probably due to the fact that this village is on the border with Moldova. The fact is that it is becoming increasingly difficult for God's servants to travel to serve God in such villages. But we pray for this village too. There are people there who are waiting for us and want to listen to the Word of God.

3. We had one funeral. We buried one sister who was a member of our church. I preached the Word of God on the subject of the afterlife. After this sermon, people came to me with questions, I was very glad that these people had such interesting questions, and after which I answered their questions, I invited them to the house of prayer, where we regularly study the Word of God. And they will be able to learn more and more about the afterlife and about the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

4. In our church from Nesvoya, I taught from the book of Ephesians. All our church members studied the Word of God very diligently. We wanted to know more about the Church of Jesus Christ. What can I do to make her grow as a member of the church and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ?

5.Thanksgiving:

-I am very grateful to God and to you brothers and sisters from the USA for your prayers and the support we have from you in this difficult time. Thank you for praying for me and my family. We feel your prayers, Thank God!

-We thank God that no missiles have yet arrived in our Chernivtsi region. And we can work in the Lord’s Field quietly and peacefully.

-We are grateful to God that many people visit the churches of our missionaries and have the opportunity to hear the Word of God. We pray for them and for their repentance.

6.Prayer needs:

-Continue to pray, dear brothers and sisters, that this war will end in both Ukraine and Israel. Very difficult times have come. I really want to hear when we get up in the morning: “The war is over, thank God!” But we do not know the will of the Lord. God give us patience and we believe that only God can deliver us from this bloody war. The main thing is that we, the Church of Christ, are ready to meet our Bridegroom Jesus Christ! Rev. 22:20 - He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

-Continue to pray for our missionaries who go to serve in our churches from villages where they are surrounded by military posts. Especially our young brothers. It is very difficult for them to go to services. Pray that the Lord will protect our brothers from all evil.

-Pray that there will be no further arrivals of enemy bombs and missiles in our region.

-Pray for our prisoners of war that they will be returned home.

-So that God preserves the lives of our soldiers who defend Ukraine.

-Pray for our volunteer brothers who bring food, clothing and shoes to soldiers on the front line. So that the Lord would preserve them from all misfortune.

And we pray for you, brothers and sisters from the USA. And we wish you with all our hearts that the Lord bless you with health, peace, success, much joy and happiness in Christ Jesus. May the Lord richly bless you, your families, your churches and your country USA!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family Pavel and Larisa.

Christ is Risen

On behalf of our missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, we congratulate you on the Bright Feast of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ: Christ is Risen! Christ is truly risen!

We wish you the best blessings from our Lord: health, happiness, peace, success, wisdom from above, and much joy in Christ Jesus!

We wish the Lord to bless you, your families, your churches and your country USA.

We always thank the Lord for you, for your help and for your prayers for us and for Ukraine, in this difficult time of war for us.

And we always love you and pray for you. Be blessed!

With love to you all 9 missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission and our families!

Meeting of missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission

We greet you with the love of our Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine!

By the mercy and grace of our Lord, we were able to work and serve for God for another month, although we still have this full-scale war in Ukraine, the arrival of missiles and suicide bombers from the enemy, many deaths and illnesses, many crippled destinies of people. We are grateful to God for protecting us and our region from missiles, and we pray for those other regions of Ukraine that the Lord will protect them from bomb and missile explosions.

1. Bible Inductive Institute:

-Last month I studied the Book of Exodus with students from the Bible Institute, and now I’m preparing to teach the textbook “Spiritual Gifts.” A very useful and responsible textbook in that everyone who studies it can understand what gift he has from God to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.

2. Fasting and prayer.

February 24 was a day of fasting and prayer for all Protestant churches in Ukraine. On this day it was two years since a full-scale war began in Ukraine, when Russia attacked our country. All believing brothers and sisters prayed and fasted before the Lord and sought mercy, protection and salvation from the enemy from Russia. We rely only on God. Only He can bring us the long-awaited peace and only He can protect us from enemies. Psalm 91:7-8.-A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; But he won't come close to you. Only you will look with your eyes and see the retribution of the wicked.

3. Meeting of missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission.

On February 28, our missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission had a meeting in the Emmanuel Church, in Novoselitsa, in the church of our brother missionary Valery Popov.

-Each missionary reported on his service work for the month of February of this year. We also had a common prayer, where we thanked God for His mercy and love for us, for His protection during this difficult time of war in Ukraine. We also thanked God for our partners from the USA who serve the Lord with us here where we live, helping people who are in trouble and difficulties.

-I had a small analysis of the Word of God with our missionaries on the topic “Fullness of the Godhead” from the book of Colossians.

-We also prayed that the Lord would help us to continue to serve Him in this difficult time and that He would continue to protect us from missile attacks on our territories, so that we could serve God calmly.

4. Now I’m preparing to teach at the Theological Institute. From March 4 to 14 I have a Messiology session, where I will teach 4th year students.

5. Thanksgiving:

-We thank the Lord God for His protection this month and for the fact that we were able to serve God without any obstacles.

-We always thank God for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, for your service and prayers for Ukraine.

-We thank God for giving us still health and strength to work in His field.

6.Prayer needs:

-Continue to pray with us for the war in Ukraine and Israel to end.

-So that enemy missiles and bombs do not come to us.

-So that God will continue to protect us and give us health to serve Him.

-Pray for me so that I can teach the Missiology session next week. So that the Lord gives me health and wisdom.

-Pray that we will be able to bring summer Christian children's camps to our region this summer. So that we have peace for this purpose.

-So that we can organize a meeting for orphans in the month of May.

-Pray with us for our prisoners of war.

-For our soldiers who defend Ukraine. For the chaplains who are there with them and teach them the Word of God. May the Lord protect and protect everyone.

And we pray for you, our dear brothers and sisters from the USA. May the Lord bless you richly and reward you with blessings a hundredfold!

With love to you, the Petikhachnyy Pavel & Larisa family.

Regional conferences

We greet you brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are very grateful to God for His protection during this time of war in Ukraine. February 24 will mark 2 years since this terrible war began. So many people, young and old, children and youth, died because of this war. This is very cruel. We only thank God that, by His grace, our Chernivtsi region has not yet suffered from missile attacks. And in other areas it’s terrible what’s happening. We pray and fast that these horrors of war will stop and that the Lord will continue to protect His children here in Ukraine, from bombs and missiles, and from all evil that comes to us from the devil.

I am very grateful to God that in such difficult times God gives us spiritual and physical strength to perform the ministry of evangelism here in Ukraine.

1.Bible Institute.

-This month, the Bible Institute students and I are studying the book of Exodus. In this book it is written how Moses and the people of Israel built the tabernacle according to the plan of the Lord, in the desert.

-We are now also building the Church of Christ from living stones (people), where we need to work hard and evangelize. It is necessary that the entire Church of Christ with its gifts serve people who have not yet accepted Christ as Savior, and only then will there be success in the gospel.

2.Breadbreaking

-I held the breaking of bread in the church from the village of Podvirnoe. To get there, Larisa and I had to go through 3 control posts, because now we are under martial law. I am not discouraged that I was traveling on this road, because 3 unbelievers came to this church and were able to listen to the Word of God. And on the next Sunday (02.11), these people again came to listen to the Word of God. We pray that these people understand the Word of God, the call of Christ and the love of God the Father, and that they repent.

3. Visiting patients with the Breaking of Bread.

-In Chernivtsi there are many sick people who are waiting for us with the breaking of bread.

I visited people who were suffering from serious illnesses and at one time held holy communion with them - the breaking of bread. They are very pleased with us because we preached good sermons in their homes about the death and suffering of Jesus Christ, and they were also able to participate in Holy Communion - Remembering the death and suffering of Christ. They prayed and thanked God for the opportunity to participate in this holy work together with the Church of Christ. And I prayed for them so that the Lord would heal these sick people if that is His Will.

4. Regional conference.

- I participated in a regional conference where the speakers, our guests, talked about false teachings in our time. Because some want to introduce such teaching into our churches, and in this way move the church away from the truth of Christ. All our brothers prayed earnestly for this, so that the Church of Christ would stand firmly on the foundation which is Christ.

5.Regional Committee of Sisters.

-February 17, my wife Larisa participated in the regional committee of sisters where our sisters reported on the work done in sisterhood, prayers, acts of mercy among widows, orphans, and assistance to our soldiers at the front. We also thanked God for the peaceful sky in our region, for our churches, for the pastors of churches, for the fact that God protects us all and we can serve God here in our region.

We planned to continue serving God with His help. After all, we have Christian camps in the summer and services to widows and orphans, and continue to help soldiers on the front line. We believe that our God is All-Powerful and will help us in these ministries, so that His Holy Name will be glorified among people and so that more people will come to God with repentance.

6.Thanksgiving:

-We are grateful to God that our region, Chernivtsi, has not yet been attacked by enemy missiles and bombs to destroy our houses - Thank God!

-We are grateful to God for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, for praying for us and supporting us financially.

-I thank God for protecting me on all the ministry trips I went on this month.

7.Prayer needs:

-Continue to pray with us for peace in Ukraine and Israel.

-Pray that the Lord will protect and preserve all our missionaries, that their families will remain alive and that we will preach Christ together during this difficult time.

-So that we may have success in the gospel.

-So that those three church visitors from Podvirnoe understand the Word of God and that they repent.

-Pray for Sister Jeta from our church. She is a cancer patient and was taken to the hospital again. If it is God's will that the Lord heal her.

-We pray for our soldiers who are on the front line, especially now we pray for the Avdeevsky Front, Donetsk region. There are heavy battles there.

-We pray for prisoners of war so that they return home from captivity.

We pray that the arrival of enemy missiles and bombs in Ukraine will stop. Our hope and trust is only in God.

And we pray for you, brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in ministry here in Ukraine. May God bless you and reward you a hundredfold for your sacrifice for Ukraine.

Please accept heartfelt Christian greetings from my family.

With love to you, the Petikhachnyy Pavel & Larisa family.

Ministry with orhpans and soldiers

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We thank the Lord for the fact that, although we still have a war in Ukraine, for 713 days now, but by God's grace we can still serve here in Bukovyna.

We hope in the Lord as King David hoped when he wrote Psalm 19 verse 8 and 9: Some with chariots, some with horses, but we boast in the Name of our Lord. They wavered and fell, but we got up and stand straight. Thank God for everything. In Christ is our protection and our victory.

For us, the Church of Jesus Christ, January was a blessed month, because God gave us, missionaries, success in evangelism: working with children, teenagers and youth.

1. In this month, they worked a lot and diligently with orphans. But we were asked to visit the military wounded from the war, with contusions. They are in a mental hospital in Chernivtsi. We organized a mini-evangelization for them with one chaplain brother and at the same time gave them good gifts. They were very pleased and asked us to visit them more often with such evangelization and gifts. We prayed with them there, and we continue to pray for these wounded in the hospital. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to take pictures of them. We have such a time now.

2. Young families and our youth study the Bible every week. They also learn and rehearse songs and verses for the worship program for the church service. With these programs, they enrich the ministry in our church. Many people from around the world who visit our church like the program of glorification of our youth. We pray for all who visit our church, that the Holy Spirit will awaken them to repentance.

3. At the Bible Institute, we are currently conducting 1 Thessalonians, and from Monday, February 5, we will conduct the book of Exodus. The book of Exodus is a very blessed book that shows all people living on earth how they should get out of this slavery of sin. And the One who helps us to get out of the slavery of sin is the sacrifice of Christ, the Blood of Christ and only Christ can free us from sin.

4. News from Ukraine:

- February 24 marks two years since the full-scale war in Ukraine with Russia. And more and more destruction and human deaths. Young men and children, old men and middle-aged people are dying, and mostly men from 18 to 60 years old, those who protect Ukraine.

A siren sounds every evening and during the day, which means an air alert. Drones and rockets are flying somewhere. And we, the children of God, are always praying at this time that the Lord will save us and protect us from these enemy rockets. We missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission are also praying and fasting so that all these horrors will end soon. With God's help, we go forward and preach the Gospel to people.

5. On Friday, February 2, we had a meeting with our missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission in Novoselytsa at the Emmanuel church, where we had fellowship and prayer for our service here. They also thanked the Lord for the fraternal support from the USA. We prayed for our partners from the USA that the Lord would bless them, their families, their churches and their country USA. We also prayed for an end to the war here and in Israel.

6. Thanks:

- We are very grateful to the Lord for His mercy and grace to us, for the fact that rockets have not yet arrived in our region, for the fact that we can safely serve God here.

- Thank God that you also prayed for the team of Brother Chioresco Grigory who had an accident on the road to Gostomel, but thank God that they are alive and are recovering a little. Of course, there are still pains, but everything is already on the mend.

- We thank God for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for your support and for your prayers for us.

7. Prayer needs:

- Pray, together with us, that the Lord will stop this dirty and aimless war between two brotherly peoples.

- We pray that the war will end in Israel as well.

- We pray that there will be no enemy missiles and drones. May the Lord protect us from these horrors.

- So that our missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission could continue to perform their services in this difficult time for us, the time of war, and so that we have God's protection over us.

-Pray for our wounded soldiers, that God heals them, for their spiritual wounds that they have from this war.

-Pray for our prisoners of war who were captured by the enemy, that they may be released. We continue to pray for Serhiy Suga, our brother in Christ who is a prisoner of the enemy. The second exchange of prisoners of war was yesterday, January 31. And Sergey was not among them. And his family is hoping and waiting for him.

- Pray for our churches that the Lord would strengthen us spiritually and that the church of Christ from Ukraine would be ready to meet our Lord in every second of our lives.

We are also praying for you, our dear brothers and sisters from the USA. May the Lord bless you and return to you a hundredfold His blessings for your sacrifice and support.

My family sends you heartfelt greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ.

With love to you family Petikhachnyy Pavel & Larisa.

Evangelization of orphans

We greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, our dear brothers and sisters from the USA!

We thank God for His mercy and for His protection in this very difficult time of war for us. Almost 700 days have passed since this full-scale war began in Ukraine. And despite this, during this entire year that has passed in our lives, we missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission were able, this year, to preach the Word in the Power of the Holy Spirit, in this time of war. I say that they preached in the Power of the Holy Spirit, because there are many people who repented and many souls made a Covenant with Jesus Christ through water baptism in the past year.

1. On January 7, our fellow villagers celebrated the Nativity of Christ, and our church also celebrated with them. Our youth walked around the village with carols and congratulated people on the holiday of Christmas, distributed spiritual calendars to them, as well as invitations to our evangelization. I preached a sermon in church on the topic: “What blessings did the Birth of Jesus Christ bring to us people of this world.” The youth choir sang beautiful psalms about the birth of Christ and recited poems about the end of this war. Everyone had tears in their eyes and the whole church prayed for peace in Ukraine and Israel. We pray for all those people who came to evangelize and heard the Word of God.

2. After this, our youth prepared 200 bags of gifts for orphans. On January 14, my wife Larisa and I took these gifts to a home for minor children, which is located in the center of the city, and in Sadgora, where there was once a boarding school. Now widows live there with children orphans from this war, we also visited 5 families who are raising 15-16 children adopted from boarding schools. All these disadvantaged people were very grateful to God and to us for these gifts. We sang carols with them where we glorified the Born Messiah Jesus Christ. We told them that if everything goes well and God helps us, then we invite everyone to a meeting for widows and orphans, which we planned in the month of May, this year. There will be good food for them and various children's activities. Only if God gives us peace and health. They were very happy about this and will all be praying for this meeting. We also pray for this action of mercy that we have planned for widows and orphans.

3. At the Bible Institute I studied the book of Hebrews. This blessed book surprises all who study it, because only Jesus can give true blessed peace to all people. Only Jesus Christ can stop the war.

-I’m also preparing for the next month, February, to study the book of Exodus together with the teachers of the Bible Institute. If only God would give peace, health and tranquility to our region where we live.

4.Thanksgiving:

-We sincerely thank you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for your support and for your prayers for us and for Ukraine. Thanks to you, we can work and serve God here successfully and for the Glory of God. Thank you for praying for us and we were able to carry out evangelization and charity campaigns with orphans and widows, glory to God!

-We thank God for protecting our Bukovina from missile attacks and we can serve God here peacefully and calmly.

-We thank God for giving us health so that we can work in His Holy Vineyard.

- Another thanks to God for the fact that the team of missionary brother Grigory Kioresko was not injured this morning, 18/01, in an accident on the road to Gostomel. Their bus was damaged by a collision with a large truck, but they are alive and well, thank God. God is Almighty! Thank God that the humanitarian products also arrived by another bus to Gostomel and people received the long-awaited help from the products. Our brothers simply loaded the boxes of food into another bus and it went further to Gostomel, and brother Kioresko’s bus was loaded onto a tow truck and taken for repairs. And thank God for the fact that these brothers who were traveling on this bus and who had an accident were left with only minor injuries. Only brother Grigory Kioresko has chest pains. We pray for him that nothing serious happens.

5.Prayer needs:

-Continue to pray for peace in Ukraine and Israel.

Celebration of the Nativity of Jesus Christ

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in the gospel here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

We are grateful to God that, even though we have been going through this terrible war in Ukraine for 684 days now, we can preach the Word of God with all our might to everyone who wants to listen to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We thank God that there have been no enemy missiles in our area yet, so we can preach the Word of God to all people here, and not only preach but also help our displaced people and financially give them bags of food. We are glad to help these people because more and more often we can hear from their lips - Thank God for everything! This means that the Name of the Lord is glorified among such people, and we pray for such people that the Lord will change their hearts to repentance before God.

1. We, together with our church and with the churches of the Novoseletsky district, celebrated the Nativity of Christ on December 25.

-First of all, I congratulated these churches with Bible verses and asked everyone to pray even harder for this terrible war in Ukraine to end in 2024.

-On December 25, I preached 2 sermons in our church where non-believers were also present, for whom we prayed that they would repent. The youth also had a beautiful program to glorify the Lord. We gave calendars to everyone present, and we are also preparing calendars and other Christian literature for people from the village who will celebrate Christmas on January 7th. Our youth will walk around the village and invite people to evangelize with us, and at the same time they will sing carols and glorify the Lord Messiah through chants. We also pray for this ministry.

-Our missionary wives also had one meeting, in Novoselitsa, at the Emmanuel Church, where our brother missionary pastor Valery Popov serves. I had a word there for them on the topic of Mary and Martha, two sisters from the New Testament. Our sisters were greatly encouraged by the Word of God and prayers before our Lord.

2. At the Bible Institute we are working on the Bible book of the Epistle to the Hebrews. I have already done 5 lessons from this book, Thank God.

-In the near future I will teach students the book of the Acts of the Holy Apostles, pray for me that the Lord will help me teach this book in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

3.During the Christmas holiday I visited many sick people and helped them with food packages, thank God I was able to help these people.

4.Currently, young families from our church are preparing 200 gifts for orphans from the Chernivtsi region. Together with Larisa, my wife, we will distribute these gifts to orphans in Homes for orphans in our region, and in the homes of families who have taken in raising orphans from boarding schools. Pray for us too, that the Lord will give us strength and health for this service, which will take place in mid-January.

5.News from Ukraine:

-Before the New Year, December 29, the enemies fired 158 missiles, as well as drones and suicide bombers, into the cities of Ukraine. Many missiles were shot down, and many exploded, destroying residential buildings and killing many people. On January 2, 98 missiles were fired again. We pray for those people.

Thank God that God had mercy on us and there were no enemy missiles arriving in our area.

6.Thanksgiving:

We are grateful to the Lord for His protection last month and from the beginning of this year, 2024. We hope for God's mercy and support throughout the whole year.

-We are always grateful to God for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for your prayers and for your support for us.

7.Prayer needs:

-Continue to pray for the end of the war in Ukraine and Israel.

-Pray for our missionaries who are working to serve among the displaced. We have 2 missionaries who constantly travel and deliver humanitarian aid to people living near the front line. Those people are looking forward to receiving this help.

-Pray that it will continue to be quiet and calm here, without the arrival of enemy missiles, so that we can serve God fruitfully. So that the Lord opens the hearts of these people to repentance.

-Pray for those who listened to the word of God last month that they would repent.

-Pray for our further evangelizations, so that there will be success in the gospel.

-About evangelization among orphans.

And we constantly pray for you, dear brothers and sisters, our partners in the gospel, that the Lord will bless you richly and give you a hundredfold blessing for your sacrifice and support for Ukraine.

Please accept heartfelt greetings from our family. We love you and are praying for you.

With love to you PETIKHACHNYY family Pavel and Larysa.

Baptism of two souls

We greet you with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in preaching the Gospel here in Ukraine!

Before my small report for the half of the month of December, the last month of this year, we want to congratulate all of you, our partners in evangelizing the Gospel in Ukraine, from the USA, on the holidays of the Nativity of Jesus Christ and Happy New Year, 2024!

We wish you all that the Lord will bless you and your families, your churches and your country of the USA with abundant blessings: health, peace, success, happiness and much joy in Christ Jesus!

We are very grateful to God and to you, brothers and sisters, for not forgetting us and supporting us in your prayers and helping us in this difficult time of war for us. Yes, every day we hope in God that soon this war will end for us. But more than 660 days have passed since this invasion began in Ukraine, and the war is still going on. Every day and night there are arrivals of enemy missiles in the cities of Ukraine. Homes and infrastructure are destroyed and people die. For three days now, the telephone system of the Kyiv Star campaign has been broken, and people have been without communication. Three days later the connection was restored. But that's not the worst thing. The worst thing is that so many people and children are dying. We pray and hope only for the mercy of our Lord. He is our Protection and Stronghold - Glory to Him!

-Although it is difficult for us, the Lord helped me so that throughout this month I would have great blessings in my ministry.

1. Two souls were baptized in the church in the village of Nesvoi. For this baptism we prepared another sister who repented in our camp in 2022, but she went to live with her grandmother in another place and was unable to be baptized. We pray for her. Her name is Alina.

-In the church of the village of Podvirna, one woman repented. Her name is Maria. She also wanted to be baptized this month, but left it until the summer of 2024, when her children will arrive from abroad. We also pray for Sister Maria.

2. I took part in a regional pastoral conference where our brothers who are in the leadership of our brotherhood in Ukraine were also present. The pastor brothers from Kyiv gave us good instructions. Before this conference, I visited all the pastors in our area and sent them these invitations to this conference, as well as congratulatory letters for their churches, which are associated with the Christmas holidays and Happy New Year 2024.

3. In the church of the village of Nesvoya, an evangelization was held with the participation of guests from Moldova and the Zhernovey family, brother Andrei and sister Maria. The Word of God was preached in the Power of the Holy Spirit, and this family glorified the Lord with singing, singing blessed songs to the glory of the Lord. The good news is that during this evangelization there were also non-believers who listened to the Word of God. We pray for them.

4. I teach lessons from the book of Revelation, part 4, at the Bible Institute. This textbook is very interesting and everyone studies this textbook with love. There are many questions: - How are the events that take place in the book of Revelation connected with the events that are currently taking place in Ukraine and Israel. We try to answer these questions from the Word that is written in the book of Revelation and from Scripture.

5.Thanksgiving

-We thank God that He protects our missionaries and they can convey the Word of God to unbelievers and displaced people.

-We are grateful to our brothers and sisters from the USA for supporting us in their prayers before God, and also supporting us financially.

-We are grateful to God that there are no enemy missiles arriving in our region yet and we hope in God that He will continue to save us from these attacks from which our entire Ukraine is suffering.

-We thank you for praying for those 3 souls who should be baptized. Thank God, two of them have already been baptized, Lyudmila and Pavel.

6.Prayer needs

-Pray with us for those souls who have received water baptism. So that the Lord strengthens their faith. Lyudmila’s husband is an unbeliever and she is now going through trials. Pray for Lyudmila that the Lord will strengthen her faith, so that she will bring her husband George to repentance.

-Also pray for Mary from the church in the village of Podvirne. So that the Lord would help her enter into a covenant with Him through water baptism in the summer of 2024.

-Pray for all those who want to make a covenant with Jesus Christ in 2024. So that the Lord prepares them.

-Pray for the war to end in Ukraine and Israel.

-So that we can hold Christian youth and children's camps in 2024. May the Lord help us in this matter and in our service. We rely only on God and His help.

-Pray for the Bible lessons that I teach to students at the Institute. Pray that students will understand Bible truths so that they will be able to continue to proclaim the Word to others.

-Pray for all our missionaries, that the Lord will give us all strength and health so that we can serve God by helping people find the True Path.

-So that there are no further arrivals of enemy missiles into our region where we work for God.

-So that we can organize good holiday evangelizations for Christmas and New Year 2024.

-So that we can organize this at the end of this month the Christmas holiday for orphans, where we will feed and give gifts to 200 orphans.

We always pray for you and love you. May the Lord bless you richly. We wish you to spend the Christmas and New Year 2024 holidays blessedly, joyfully, in peace and harmony.

With love to you family Petikhachnyy Pavel and Larysa.
