Consequences of the flood

зображення_viber_2020-07-22_23-52-011.jpg

Consequences after the flood from June 25, 2020, in Bukovina. -Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism in Ukraine, we want to inform you how events are developing after the great flood that began on June 25 this summer and the water flooded the gardens of our missionary brothers where all their harvest was lost. They are trying to do something, sow, transplant, but we do not know if it will turn out to grow until the fall. All the vegetables have already rotted. All the products already need to be bought on the market. We visited our missionaries who got into this flood and saw for ourselves how hard it is for them now. Our churches also joined in to help all people caught in this flood. Here are a couple of testimonies from three of our missionaries: Gortopan Mihai, Preutesa Vasily and the Martsinyuk family Vitaliy and Alina is our translator from the PIEI Ukraine mission.

  1. Gortopan Mihai

Greetings from the Hortopan family. We turn to brothers and sisters partners from the PIEI organization with thanksgiving for your help and for supporting us in your prayers. It has been almost one month since our whole garden was flooded after June 25, this summer. After about 10 days, when the land dried up a little, we began to recycle this land and reseed it again. It was difficult. It was necessary to clean the land from the swamp and then with a walk-behind tractor dig up all the ground and prepare for sowing other crops such as radishes, dill and parsley, beans so that they could give birth before autumn. I also sowed corn as feed for our cow. The land is heavily cultivated because the land is very hard. There you can see in the photo that I cultivate the land with a walk-behind tractor, and Zina, my wife, is cultivating the cabbage that we planted after the flood, and the greens are already growing a little there. The previous harvest before the flood was all rotten and we threw away everything: carrots, potatoes, cabbage, beans, parsley and other crops. We already buy all these products on the market, because others simply will not have time to grow and ripen before the fall. Only little tomatoes have come to life, pepper and corn, but there will be no harvest. Everything withers and dries up. We try to work and re-sow everything, but what is lost cannot be returned back. Here the words of Scripture from the book of Job are very useful: -The Lord gave and the Lord took away, let the Name of the Lord be blessed! Job 1:21. We are very grateful to you that you are interested in us how we live after the flood and pray for us, help us - this is a great consolation for us that brings us joy in our hearts. We also love you and pray for you and for your God's work that you do helping others. We wish the Blessings of the Lord to be with you all Amen! With love to you the Hortopan family.

2. Vasiliy Preutesa

Greetings to brothers and sisters from America. Thank you for not staying indifferent to our problem. These pictures are from a couple of weeks after the flood. In different places where I have gardens of more than 70 acres, the harvest is gone. This swamp with a layer of 5 cm, which remained after the flood, stopped everything and begins to dry out. Thank you very much to everyone who helps us morally, prayerfully and financially. God bless you!

3. Martsinyuk family

Dear brothers and sisters,

We would like to express our thanks and gratitude to you for supporting us in our troubles that we have gone through this summer – the flood. Because of heavy rain last month, most of Ukrainian villages have been hit hard with severe floods. Our village has been heavily flooded too and our home, our back yard and garden that is a vital part of our home have also been severely flooded. The flood has caused great damage to us. All the vegetables and crops in the garden and fields have been spoilt. We ran out of our food supply, as our income much depends from the vegetables we grow in our gardens and our food supply comes from there. We cleaned all the mud from our front yard even tried to replant some potatoes (photo added). We trust God that He will take care of us, because He promised us in His word that and we will not lack anything.

Be blessed, Martsinyuk family

Missionary meeting

зображення_viber_2020-07-10_16-42-58.jpg

Peace of God, dear brothers and sisters from the USA! I thank God for the fact that He protects me from all bad things and I can carry out ministry in many churches during this difficult time, the time of quarantine.

1.Bread breaking:

-With God's help, I held a Breadbreak in the church of the village of Nesvoya. Almost all members of the church who so ardently wanted to remember the death and suffering of Jesus Christ took part in this service.

-On the same day, July 5, after lunch, we held a meal at the church in the village of Balkovtsi, where all church members attended this important service.

-And on July 12, with God's help, I plan to make a baptismal ceremony in the church of the village of Zhilovka, where, with God's help, I want to help this church grow spiritually, and so that it multiplies in the number of church members. We pray for this church.

зображення_viber_2020-07-10_16-43-01.jpg

2.Funeral:

-In the village of Stalnivtsi, Chernivtsi region, I and Larisa (my wife) held the funeral of one elderly brother (brother Stefan). At this funeral there were 30 unbelievers and relatives of the deceased. I preached both at home and in the cemetery. Larisa and another sisters from this church served singing, glorifying the Lord. The children and relatives of the deceased brother were pleased with this funeral. We pray that all 30 non-believers who were present at the funeral will repent.

3. Worship in small groups:

-I conduct classes with those people who can come to the meeting in 3 churches in order to strengthen them spiritually.

4.Meeting of missionaries of PIEI Ukraine mission:

-Yesterday, July 10, our missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission met in the house of prayer in the town of Novoselitsa, where the pastor of the church is brother Valery Popov. Each missionary brother gave a report on the work done for the first half of the year. Thank God that God preserves the lives of our missionaries and they work with full dedication in the Lord's Field. We had good communication, prayed together for each other, prayed for all the brothers and sisters from the United States who help us work here in Ukraine and praised God for giving us such partners in the gospel. We prayed that the Lord would stop this COVID 19 pandemic. We believe that the Lord will bless us and never leave us, Glory to Him!

5.Gratitude:

-Thank God for protecting me and my family

- for helping me to do the breaking of bread in churches where church members have the opportunity to remember the suffering and death of Jesus Christ.

-For every missionary of the PIEI Ukraine mission, because they work with full dedication and love in God's vineyard.

-Thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters who support us here in Ukraine in doing the work of God, with your prayers and materially. May the Lord reward you with His blessings a hundredfold!

6.Prayer Needs:

-Pray for our Chernivtsi region, because many people continue to suffer from this disease COVID 19, so that this virus calms down both in our country and in the whole world.

-Pray that we can hold at least daytime children's Christian camps, in a small number. Until we are not allowed by the state to hold camps due to quarantine.

-To God help people understand that they need to repent of their sins and not grumble at God, and in this difficult time so that people search for God more! May the Lord bless you richly dear brothers and sisters.

With respect to you, Pavel and Larisa Petihachny.

One pastor went away due virus

зображення_viber_2020-06-19_14-48-00.jpg

Peace of God to you brothers and sisters from the USA!

I am grateful to God because He helps us to preach the gospel in such a difficult time when all people are in fear of death and seek salvation from this virus. And we have this opportunity to tell them that the only way out is Christ Who has the power to help, save and comfort.

1.Bread refraction:

The Lord helped me make bread-making in the church of the village of Zhilovka, Chernivtsi region, where this little church had such a desire to hold this service with them and did not know how, because they were still in quarantine. I helped them to perform this service and, thank God All was well. All brothers and sisters, with tears in their eyes, thanked God for His protection and blessings. There was one woman (her name is Valentina) who was looking for the Lord, but has not yet decided to repent. We pray for her and her family (she has a husband and 2 adult sons).

зображення_viber_2020-06-18_00-07-17.jpg

2. The quarantine continues.

Parliament of Ukraine continued quarantine, in our Ukraine, until July 31, 2020, because our region, Chernivtsi, is very heavily attacked by this virus (CAVID Pandemic 19). There are many villages where almost half of the people fell ill with this virus. One pastor from Chernivtsi region (brother Vanya Miaun, 70 years old) went away from this virus forever. His wife (Larisa) is still in the hospital. We pray for her that the Lord will heal her. We also pray for many of our brothers and sisters who fell ill with this disease.

3.Funeral:

This morning, June 17, at 8 o’clock in the morning, my own older brother Mikhail Petihachny (70 years old) died. Larisa and I were at the pre-funeral service and helped there, comforting his son and his wife, as well as their grandchildren. I preached the Word at the funeral, and Larisa helped the choristers to sing, because the choristers come in small numbers due to quarantine. There were also unbelieving relatives and children. They listened to the Word of God and we pray for them that the Lord touches their hearts.

4. Social assistance:

The PIEI UKRAINE mission helped patients from the village of Nesvoi, Chernivtsi region, and many patients from other churches with money and humanitarian assistance.

зображення_viber_2020-06-19_14-49-32.jpg

5. Thanks:

-Thank God that all the missionaries of the PIE UKRAINE mission are healthy and work on the field of God with boldness.

-Thanks God for the fact that spiritual programs are broadcast via online and for the fact that we have missionaries who broadcast spiritual radio programs through Radio Bukovina.

6. Prayer needs:

-Pray for the Lord to stop this COVID 19 virus.

-To God protect the families and children of our missionaries from all evil.

-To give the Lord His wisdom to us, so that we know what to do and act in this difficult time.

We always pray for you brothers and sisters and are grateful to you for your care and assistance that you render to us, we always praise and thank God for you. Be blessed! With love, Pavel and Larisa Petihachny.

Bukovina is flooded

зображення_viber_2020-06-29_18-35-56.jpg

Welcome, dear brothers and sisters from the United States.
As you know, we had a flood in Bukovina after many rains. The Prut River rose and water flooded many people's gardens, as well as water flooded their homes. Three of our missionaries also fell under this problem: Brother Gortopan Mihai, brother of Preute Vasilia and our translator of our mission PIEI UKRAINE-Martsinyuk Alina, her husband Vitaly and 5 of their children. We want to inform you about the situation with our missionaries. Sincerely yours Pavel and Larisa Petikhachny.

зображення_viber_2020-06-29_18-36-01.jpg

1. Greetings from the Gortopan family.
Dear brothers and sisters, our partners of the gospel, from the PIEI mission. We are very happy and grateful to God for knowing you and for working together in the Field of God. We are grateful to you for your material help and for praying for us.
Today, Sister Larisa Petikhachna called us and through her call we realized that you, brothers and sisters from the United States, are interested in how we are doing after the flood. This is very encouraging and comforting that there are brothers and sisters in Christ who understand the hardships and troubles in which we turned out.
On June 5, 2020, we were hit by a big flood, from the side of the Prut River, after many thunderstorms the dam broke somewhere in the Carpathians. Subsequently, water came to our entire garden and the entire crop disappeared from the garden and the crop in the greenhouse. The water did not go away and stood for so many days. As can be seen from the photo after 4 days of stagnant water, the whole crop rotted. In the garden, a swamp with silt to the knee. It all needs to be cleaned. For us, this test is very difficult. We used to collect cucumbers and tomatoes from the greenhouse every day and sell them at the market. That's how we kept our family. If we had to prepare food for the family, we all found it in our garden (onions, garlic, potatoes, various greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage), in short, everything we needed and now we were left with nothing. And in the market all vegetables have risen in price. Our basement was also full of water, now we have cleaned it. We are sending you a photo with the flood. There you can see another design. There our son Sergei bought a house next to our house and he also had water in the garden next to the house. This month he and his wife gave birth to a son. They named him Stas, so God gave us another grandson. Stas is already 3 weeks old. May the Lord bless this young family and protect it from all evil.
Through this brief description of our situation, we want you to receive sympathy and support from both brothers and sisters in Christ (1 Peter 3: 8).
Finally, be all unanimous, compassionate, brotherly, merciful, friendly, humble.
With love and great gratitude, your brothers and sisters in Christ are the Gortopan family.

2. Greetings from the Martsinyuk family.

зображення_viber_2020-06-30_11-45-06.jpg

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
We greet you in the name of our Jesus Christ. We are thankful to our Lord for the opportunity to serve our Lord and be at His disposal whenever He needs it. Our family has been working with PIEI for many years, especially at the Summer Camp in Ukraine. In the past week, most of Ukrainian villages have been hit hard with torrential rain and severe floods. Our village has been heavily flooded too and our home, our back yard and garden that is a vital part of our home have also been severely flooded. We as well as the majority of people who live there, our income much depends from the vegetables we grow in our gardens and our food supply comes from there, with barn animals and chickens and bees, country life. God has blessed us with 5 beautiful children and the flood has caused great damage to us. All the vegetables and crops in the garden and fields have been spoilt. My mother who is 82 lives with us too, because she is old, she needs special care. We ask you to pray for our family as well for the other families who suffered from the flood and we believe that God Who is our Father will take care of us wonderfully and we will not lack anything in winter until spring.
May God bless you and thank you for your prayer support. We pray for you too.

3. Greetings from the Preutesa family.

зображення_viber_2020-06-29_22-06-09.jpg

Peace to you brothers and sisters of the PIEI mission.
I`d like to tell you a little story about a flood in Ukraine. A quarter of my backyard which I have was fully flooded. It is about 15 acres of land. Praise the Lord my house and the front yard were not flooded. As you can see on these pictures flood was everywhere and there no alive corn. We had wheat and barley and other corn, but now we left with nothing.
We are grateful that mission PIEI prays about us and worries of us. We are brothers in Christ and are united with one Spirit in our troubles.
We are thankful to you for your support for us. Thanks to it we can perform our mission in Ukraine.
God bless you, we pray about you!

Church is opened again

зображення_viber_2020-05-30_19-33-16.jpg

I am grateful to God that He gives the necessary blessings in all circumstances of life, and we, the church of Christ, can testify the gospel to all people.

1. Church service:

We, the Church of Jesus Christ from the village of Nesvoy, Chernivtsi region, Ukraine, from May 24 began to gather together in the House of Prayer, to glorify Christ. Church members, both older and younger, joyfully thanked God for giving us the opportunity to again glorify the Name of Jesus Christ together. The state allowed us to get together, only set us the condition that we would comply with sanitary medical requirements, get together in small numbers, maintain distance and wear more masks. Our church members agree to get together already.

We also helped the church from the village of Zhilovka to get together in the House of Prayer. Now we are preparing to conduct, in these churches, the refraction. So will all the churches of the Novoseletsky district.

зображення_viber_2020-05-30_19-33-01.jpg

2.Home groups:

After we started to get together at the House of Prayer, everyone decided not to disband the small home groups where they had gathered together during the pandemic for almost 2 months, but they want to continue to come together in small groups to study the Word and prayer, just not while serving a church in the House of Prayer. I am very glad that all members of the church were kindled for prayer and for the glorification of Christ.

3. Bible studies online.

We, with the leaders of the Bible Institute, throughout Ukraine studied the Epistles of St. Paul to the Kolosians online for 10 days. It was wonderful to use this session time to study this beautiful book from the Bible, and for spiritual growth, Thank God!

4.Thanks:

- I thank God for the fact that in this difficult time of the pandemic, all believers were more kindled to glorify Christ and prayer.

-I thank God for helping us, the church of Christ, to help all the sick to plant their gardens.

5. Prayer needs:

-Pray for us so that from now on, when we get together, so that no one gets sick from the COVID 19 pandemic virus, otherwise our Prayer Houses will be closed again.

-Pray for those unbelievers who came to small group meetings to repent.

-Pray for all of us, 8 missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, that we will be protected by God from all that is bad and have the strength to evangelize in this difficult time.

Please accept my heartfelt greetings from my family. Love you and pray for you.

With love, Pavel and Larisa Petihachny.

Gospel in home groups

зображення_viber_2020-05-09_12-35-52.jpg

I greet you with the love of Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters from the USA! I am grateful to God for sending His Son Jesus Christ to redeem us and give us His strength and protection in the gospel.

1.Mini Evangelism:

Church, the village of Nesvoia is divided into small groups. One group gathers in a house of worship, and the other in houses where each group has its own leader. Every Sunday, unbelieving people come to these groups who want to pray with us and want to praise the Lord through chants.

Testimony:

Coming to prayer in these groups, I realized that I had to pray to God through Jesus Christ so that God would hear my prayer. I realized that only Jesus Christ is the Mediator between God the Father and man. I so want the Lord to forgive me, bless and protect me and my family. Misha.

2.Funeral:

In the village of Nesvoia we had 2 funerals. Two brothers went to eternity: one is 63 years old and the other is 80 years old. We held this funeral with a small group of singers and with two preachers. Relatives of the dead were mostly unbelievers and heard the Word of God. We pray for them so that the Word of the Lord will reach the hearts of people and that they will repent.

3.Bread refraction:

In many churches, they performed bread-breaking, as follows: In the church they consecrated bread and wine with prayer, and then believers came in small groups at different times and took part in the bread-breaking. We pastor and deacon served our brothers and sisters. And then they visited the sick at home, where they also joyfully joined the church accepting the bread-breaking.

4.Thanks:

-We are grateful to God for helping us to perform our ministry in such circumstances.

-That the believers in our churches have not lost their love for Jesus and their zeal to serve him.

-For these trials through which the Lord leads us, His children.

-We are grateful to God and for you brothers and sisters from the USA, for supporting us in your prayers, for supporting our services here in Ukraine. May the Lord bless you and your families abundantly.

5. Prayer needs:

-Our dear ones, pray that the Lord has mercy on us all and stop the Pandemic COVID 19. So that we can again come together in our prayer houses and glorify the Almighty of our Lord.

- That we could hold Christian camps for children this summer.

-To the preached Word to unbelievers, brought many fruits of repentance.

-For the recovery of many of the ministers and believers that this virus touched.

We also pray for you, our dear brothers and sisters, that the Lord will protect you and your families, wherever you are, from all evil and give everyone health, peace, joy in Christ! Be blessed!

With love, Pavel and Larisa Petihachny.

Help to the needy

зображення_viber_2020-04-20_19-34-41.jpg

Greetings to you dear brothers and sisters with a bright holiday of the resurrection - Christ is Risen! Christ is truly risen!

Thanks to God that he is the Master of these circumstances, in which the whole world is at the moment, and shows to all the people of this world that he hopes for himself, for money, for kings, for developed countries, it makes no sense, but one must rely only on God which can protect against this virus from the pandemic COVID 19. God has allowed this virus in our lives to prepare us, His Church, to meet Him. That we all may order our lives, that we may live today and thank the Lord for everything.

1.Help to the needy:

This month, we, the Church of Christ, have helped all the elderly, the sick and the disabled. They have been continually giving them humanitarian aid, this ministry is being done by the youth of our church. Our PIEI UKRAINE mission also helped many disabled people and orphans in what they needed.

2. Church services:

I divided the church into small groups, and everyone is studying the Word of God, praying at the appointed time for all, and also studying the book of Jacob, which talks about the ordeal. Through this book, I want to comfort all members of our church.

3. Fasting and prayer:

On April 16, all churches in our Chernivtsi region organized a fasting and prayer. They prayed that the Lord would purify us with His Holy blood and have mercy on us and stop this pandemic and its effect on humans. I organized a fast and a prayer in the churches of the Novoselitsky district, and on April 16, 19:30, all members of the church of the Chernivtsi region bowed their knees at the same time and asked God for mercy for the Lord to deliver deliverance for His children.

4.Thanks:

-Thank God for the youth of all the churches helping the needy and not leaving them. This shows the unity of the Church of Christ.

-Thank God that, through these circumstances, the Lord has given us time to spend more time with our families, study the Word together and pray.

-Because the Lord has given us such a chance that we have time to prepare for the meeting with our Bridegroom-Jesus Christ.

Prayer needs:

-Pray that all of us, children of God, will go through these trials with joy.

- That all believers looked more on Christ than on this virus.

- Pray for those who have the disease, so that the Lord can heal them by His power,

-Pray for peace in Ukraine. And we pray for you brothers and sisters. We know that you are also experiencing some of the best times with this quarantine and with this pandemic COVID 19.

Thank you for always praying for us and helping us, and continuing to pray for us. May the Lord bless you and your families abundantly and give you a hundredfold. Accept from us Christian greetings.

With love to you, the family of Pavel and Larisa Petihachny.

God's help in a difficult time

зображення_viber_2020-03-20_20-35-48.jpg

May the peace of God and the love of Jesus Christ fill our hearts, dear brothers and sisters in Christ!

I am grateful to God that through His Word he consoles us and requires us to stop and put things in order in our lives and prepare to meet with Him. Everything that is happening now, events, this pandemic, everything says that the Lord is close and the Church of Christ should prepare to meet his Bridegroom. The words of Revelation are heard — And the Spirit and the bride say: come! And let the hearer say come! Let the thirsty one come, and let him that desire take the water of life for nothing! Rev. 22:17.

1. Division into groups:

All churches in our region, in connection with the COVID 19 pandemic, are divided into small groups and listen to the sermons of their pastors, ministers of the church, online. Prayers all have fasting days and prayers with the church. Also, all church members communicate with each other by phone, vibe, facebook.

2. Visits to sick and old people:

Our youth and young families help the elderly and the sick. Through the phone they find out what they need and go to help. They buy food, medicine and all that they need and bring it to their doorstep at home. People then go out and take it all to the house. Such are the orders in our country so that during quarantine people with an advanced age of 60 years and above, so that they sit at home and do not go outside. Our daughter Angelica and her husband Michael are very helpful. They live near us and buy the necessary quarantine at this time.

3.Prayer:

On March 25th, all Protestant believers from Ukraine, all our churches, united in fasting and prayer, so that the Lord would stop the CONVID 19 pandemic, and so that the children of God could continue to gather and conduct service in prayer houses, organize Christian youth and children's camps, and to carry out further mercy actions for widows and orphans. But at all the will of the Lord. If the Lord blesses us and stops this pandemic, and gives us all health, then we should work with even more jealousy on His Niva, because the time of Christ's coming is very close and we must manage to bring even more people to Christ. May God help us in this matter!

4.Thanks:

-We are very grateful to God for protecting the lives of all our missionaries and their families.

-For the Word of God that in this difficult time consoles and encourages the children of God.

5. Prayer needs:

-We will pray that the Lord will stop this pandemic of COVID 19.

-for the healing of those brothers and sisters who fell ill with this virus.

- So that our son Andrei could return home, to his family, from Italy, where he worked, and so that he would not become infected with this virus. And Natasha, our daughter also works in Germany, so that the Lord will protect her from the disease. Our brother-in-law, Vladimir, works in England, so that his Lord will protect him from any disease. As well as us all the children of God who live in Ukraine, so that the Lord will protect us from any disease, so that the children of God can work with jealousy on the Divine Field.

-We have good news. Our Andrei, with God's help, arrived on Friday evening. Thank God that I found the car and arrived on time. He is now on an observation for 2 weeks. We speak only by phone. We can only talk with our family by phone.

-To God bless all the online broadcasts that the pastor’s brothers broadcast, so that the Church of Christ at this time does not cool, but burns with the fire of first love. We all pray and brothers and sisters for you. We know that you also have a hard time at this difficult time. But we also know, and we believe that the Lord will not leave us and you, God's children. May the Lord bless you, our dear brothers and sisters, and help us all stand in faith and be ready to meet with our Savior Jesus Christ!

I can do everything in Jesus Christ strengthening me. Philipians 4:13.

With love, Pavel and Larisa Petihachny.

Circumstances in our churches

зображення_viber_2020-03-20_20-35-48.jpg

May the peace of God and the love of Jesus Christ fill your and our hearts in this difficult time, for all the people of our planet Earth! I am thankful to God that He helps us and comforts us all with His Holy Word at this time when CONVID 19 spread almost everywhere on earth.

1. Circumstances in our churches:

- We, in the Chernivtsi region, as well as throughout Ukraine, have been quarantined because of the Coronovirus epidemic. They closed all the stores except grocery, public transport and city, and intercity stopped. Only pharmacies, hospitals and grocery stores work. Everyone leaves home only when necessary: to buy food and medicine. We carry out prayer services only online and of course in our home family churches. Communication with brothers and sisters of faith only by phone, vibe, skype. So we pray for each other. It is not known when all this will stop, but we hope in the Lord. He is omnipotent to stop this virus. In our villages of the Novoselitsky district, the broadcast “Little Samaritan” is well accessible, where our older brothers and sisters have the opportunity to listen to sermons, and chants around the clock. Who has the Internet then listen to online sermons. Thank God for everything! Young parents deal with their children at home, in the family. Schools are all closed. Now everyone is praying like never before. We pray that people will repent, because only in Jesus Christ is the salvation of our souls!

2. Pastoral conference:

- Thank God that the Pastoral Conference (churches from the Novoseletsky and Hertsaevsky districts) that I organized on March 14th was blessed. Although I was absent from it because of my rehabilitation after the operation, in my heart I was there with my brothers and prayed for this conference. There, all the pastors prayed for this situation that happened throughout the world and in Ukraine. For the Lord to stop this virus and protect His people from this disease.

3.Thanks:

- Thank God that He protects us in this difficult time.

-Thanks God for His Holy Word and Psalm 90 which encourages us to His children.

- Thank God that you are with us in your prayers. And we pray with you for you and for all people on earth that the Lord will protect all people from this terrible virus.

4. Prayer needs:

-Pray for the Lord to stop this virus.

-That the people of Ukraine through these circumstances will repent and receive Jesus Christ in their hearts.

-To make us believers prepare for the coming of Christ, because we do not know when God will take us from this earth.

-Pray for me too. I have to go see a doctor next week. I really want the doctor to tell me that I can already drive a car. But at all the will of God. Praise God for all that He gives us!

- Pray for our children who are working abroad. Andrei son (in Italy), Volodya senior son-in-law (in England) and Natasha daughter (in Germany). And also our son Sasha and his family are in Canada. Let the Lord protect them from any epidemic and from all evil!

We send greetings from my family to all our brothers and sisters. May the Lord bless you richly! Love you and pray for you! With respect to you, Pavel and Larisa Petihachny.

Pastoral district conference

зображення_viber_2020-02-18_16-59-29.jpg

Peace be upon you, brothers and sisters from the United States.

God's blessings are success in the gospel.

This month, despite the fact that I am still undergoing a rehabilitation course after the operation, I organized over the phone:

1. Pastoral district conference to be held on March 14 in the church of the village of Nesvoia. I called and wrote on a Viber, inviting all the ministers of the churches from the Novoseletsky district and the Hertsaevsky district to this conference where I invited another teacher of the theological institute who will teach a lecture: "How to study the Bible." Also invited one brother of the minister from the office ECB of Chernivtsi region to teach a lesson on evangelism.

2. This week, in the churches of the villages of Nesvoi and Balkovtsi, mini evangelism, crusades with one brother from Romania, was held in the homes of unbelievers. Christian psalms were sung, the Word of God was preached and also answered people's questions. Many of the unbelievers have heard the Word of God, pray for them to receive Jesus Christ in their hearts.

3. Thanksgiving:

- I really thank God that after the operation I felt better. True, you need to take this long rehabilitation course for me. So the doctors said that I can’t sit behind the wheel of the car for another 5 weeks. 2 weeks have already passed, I will still endure 3 weeks. Thank God for that too. God help me, give me health and continue to work on His Field!

-Thanks the Lord and for Larisa, my wife. February 28 was her birthday and we, together with our family (though not all the children arrived, since they are far from us at work), thanked the Lord that God gave her health and we have her. We prayed together that the Lord would bless Larisa with further health, that we all serve in the work of God together.

- I thank you for the material help and your prayers, which help me, to be successful in the gospel.

- I thank God for the success in conducting the crusade in the churches of Nesvoi and Balkovtsy.

4. Prayer needs:

-Pray for the Word to be preached this week, on a crusade, to bring much fruit of repentance.

- About the children's ministry in the church of the village of Nesvoi.

-Pray further for me that the Lord will strengthen my health.

- About our trip to Romania to meet with missionaries of the PIEI Romania mission, March 26-28. That the Lord will keep us on the road and that the meeting be blessed.

Love you and pray for you. May the Lord bless you richly! Sincerely, Pavel and Larisa Petihachny.
